The Complete Twilight Series in Summary
The Twilight Saga begins with Bella Swan moving to Forks, Washington. She meets Edward Cullen, who, with the rest of the Cullens, is a vampire. Edward and Bella begin dating. They encounter another group of vampires, one of which, James, decides to hunt and kill Bella. The Cullens save Bella. Edward leaves Bella because he thinks that is best for Bella. Enter Jacob Black, the werewolf. Jacob and Bella become quite close. Alice, Edward’s sister, shows up because she thinks Bella is dead. Edward also thought Bella was dead and went seeking death from vampire nobility, the Volturi. Alice and Bella stop it and promise the Volturi that Bella will become a vampire. Bella is torn between Edward and Jacob. A group of newborn vampires cause trouble in Seattle. The newborns attack the Cullens and the werewolves help fight them. Bella and Edward get married and Bella gets pregnant. When the vampire/human baby is born, Edward turns Bella into a vampire to save her life. The Volturi find out about the baby and think it is an abomination and come to kill it and the Cullens. The Cullens gather their vampire friends to stop the Volturi. Bella’s abilities save them.
